My children and now my grandchildren always loved playing in the rain. I did too when I was young, now days I am not so keen to be in it 😊but I do like listening to rain on the roof. There is something soothing about water in all its forms and this painting reminds me of holiday travels with my family and those huge and sudden tropical downpours that start unexpectedly and finish just as quickly. The only reminders being the big puddles and steaming ground.
