frequently asked questions

Paintings

Do you accept commissions?

Currently, I am not taking commissions. Please feel free to browse my Available Work - I hope you will find a piece you love.

Do you have any originals for sale right now?

All original paintings currently for sale can be found under the Available Work tab.

Why are there no original paintings for sale?

If there are no original paintings currently for sale it means they have all sold, but there are always new works coming soon. Please sign up to my mailing list (see below) to be notified when new works are available and be kept up to date with happenings in my studio.

Can I visit your studio?

Currently I can’t facilitate studio visits due to COVID but I hope to in the future.

I missed out on your last collection of originals, how do I find out when your next collection goes on sale?

I’m sorry you missed out, some pieces sell very quickly. The best way to hear about any upcoming work is to sign up to my mailing list (see below) and you will be among the first to know when new art is ready for sale. You can also follow my works in progress on Instagram and Pinterest.

What media do you use?

I use mainly water based media, acrylic paint and acrylic ink on MDF board, I love the firmness of this material and the pressure I can apply without it flexing. I also like using mixed dry media like pencils, charcoal and pastels as well as hand printed papers in my work.

I’ve bought my painting, will it come ready to hang?

Original paintings come as a cradled panel, with hand painted contemporary wooden edges to the panel. They are wired and ready to hang. If you like the look of a frame you can choose it when you have the painting with you – it’s easier to decide that way!

Prints

What type of prints do you create?

Currently, I do not create prints of my original work.

Shipping

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we do.

How much is shipping?

Shipping costs depend on the size of the work you select and where you would like the painting delivered. They are calculated in accordance with current charges as provided by Pack & Send (Australia) and include all costs associated with packing.

How do you ship your paintings and prints?

All paintings are packed very carefully by the courier responsible for delivery. Paintings will be wrapped in either bubble wrap or foam wrap with an exclusion layer to prevent packaging sticking to your painting during transit. They are then boxed in a custom sized box with sufficient cushioning to ensure protection from the corners, top, bottom and sides of the box. The box is taped closed and labelling affixed as appropriate for the type of travel (e.g. air or road).

Prints are digital and will be emailed to you upon payment.

I have placed my order, when should I expect my artwork?

Once you place your order it will be processed and shipped within 5-10 business days. Once shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking details. Transit time is approximately 3-6 business days for domestic deliveries (Australia) and 1-2 weeks for international deliveries. All shipments are trackable online and require a signature on delivery.

Prints will be emailed as soon as the order has been processed. This is usually 1-2 business days.

Who is responsible for customs and duty charges?

Customers are responsible for all custom and duty charges, if relevant please consult your government website for further information.

What if my piece gets lost or damaged?

If your piece gets lost or damaged, we offer a replacement with a similar work or full refund. Please see our Shipping and Returns policies for further information.

What if I change my mind?

If the piece doesn’t suit or you just change your mind, we offer a full refund. Please see our Shipping and Returns policies for further information. There is no refund available for digital prints.
